The baptism of the rose 'Anne-Beffort' took place on 4 September 2019 at Parc Mansfeld in Luxembourg-Clausen, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the appointment of Anne Beffort as the first female high school teacher in Luxembourg, in 1919.

Patrimoine Roses pour le Luxembourg donated this rose as a tribute to the groundbreaking and exemplary work of Anne Beffort (1880-1966), graduate in French literature of the Sorbonne (Paris), initiator and president of the Musée Victor Hugo in Vianden.
